Welcome to sigmachipsi.org and gammasigmagamma.org, official sites of the SCP and GSG Association (SGA), the collaborative body representing Sigma Chi Psi Sorority, Gamma Sigma Gamma Fraternity, and other affiliated organizations. We are proud to represent the first multicultural sorority and fraternity created to provide sisterhood and brotherhood experiences for students primarily pursuing higher education through online and non-traditional pathways.
Our mission is to advocate for and bridge the social gap for online students through meaningful community engagement and personal and professional development. We are transforming the online education experience by providing opportunities for academic success, service, in-person and lifelong connection, leadership development, skill building, community, and professional networking, vital elements that are often limited or underrepresented in virtual learning environments.

Since 2020, more than 9,000 participants have shared an interest in the BTSG (Bridging the Social Gap) initiative, demonstrating nationwide engagement and meaningful impact.

The Big/Mentorship Initiative, active since 2020, has facilitated 20+ mentorship and professional opportunities involving over 60 (big) mentors, creating long-term guidance for new members.

From 2020–2023, the Language Learning Spanish Initiative connected over 100 participants, advancing cross-cultural education.

Members have completed over 60,000 hours of community service, contributing to civic growth and leadership through volunteer initiatives.

300+ engagement and meetup activities, including leadership meet-ups, community service events, wellness workshops, health and wellness meet-ups, financial literacy sessions, networking mixers, cruises and trips, and virtual socials, have been organized since 2020, reinforcing our mission to bridge social connection, collaboration, and member development.

Online students represent approximately 75% of those we serve, while community college, technical college, and trade school students make up 25%. Over 85% of our participants are nontraditional learners, underscoring our core focus.

Membership distribution includes the Northeast (34.11%), Southeast (31.95%), and Southcentral (18.49%) regions, with additional members in the Midwest (10.49%) and West (4.97%).

Since 2024, we have prioritized accelerating workforce readiness through leadership and skill development, fostering measurable growth across business, technology, and data science. Participants have completed over 500 interactive learning modules and assessments, demonstrating tangible progress in communication, project management, and digital literacy.

Expanding Access. Building Community
Sigma Chi Psi Sorority and Gamma Sigma Gamma Fraternity are membership organizations united in their mission to expand access to sorority and fraternity life for current and alumni nontraditional and online students. We are dedicated to creating meaningful student life experiences grounded in academic excellence, social activities, career progression, service, sisterhood, and brotherhood.

We strive to ensure that all students, regardless of how they pursue their education, have the opportunity to be part of an empowering community. We are actively accepting applications for potential new members, open to partnerships, and welcome individuals who wish to support our mission through funding, resources, or connections that help us grow and reach even more students. Contact support@scpandgsg.org. We currently operate with student-led chapters and are entering the next expansion phase of establishing Registered Student Organizations. As technology continues to reshape how we access education, more people are choosing online learning, whether to advance their careers, return to school after life took them in a different direction, or simply because it fits their reality. But in doing so, many miss out on the connections that make college memorable. Studies have shown that involvement in student organizations can improve retention and support student success, making it even more important to extend these experiences beyond traditional campus settings. Our goal is to ensure that online and nontraditional students still have the opportunity to experience the lifelong bonds and shared traditions of sororities and fraternities through a community that complements institutional resources and creates space for meaningful connection.
