What inspired you to pursue an online college education, and how did you get started?
I had to do something I was working and I wanted a better life for myself and my children. I’m very hands on when it comes to my family so attending traditional school was out the question. I worked full time and attended online classes each day all while trying to be a mom, wife, friend, teacher etc.. it was often I wanted to give up but, failure was not an option. I wanted my kids to know my mom is phenomenal and broken crayons still color. In the mist of my school life I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis I mean life was really trying me. I went to school 4 times and I completed each term I have an Associate degree, Bachelor degree, Master’s degree in Education and last a Masters in Psychology. The devil will not win and still I stand I work for HeadStart serving low income families and it’s been the highlight of my life. I say throw me to the wolves I will come back leading the pack!
